Manager

Position Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic marketer to give an authentic voice to our brand. You will be in charge of designing key strategies to enhance MK brands by connecting with our consumers through integrated campaigns. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a passion for trend spotting and the love for food. You will work collaboratively to identify customer insight, maximize revenues, and drive an effective action plan.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop brand communication and PR strategies to enhance all MK brands
  • Define PR activities, sponsorship marketing, collaborating with CSR and execute integrated campaigns through various channels and media including online, offline, above the line, below the line and digital channels
  • Oversee communication and work with media agency to develop effective media plans
  • Lead in-store communication direction and execution including brand signage, POP merchandising standard and in-store activation for special occasions, that deliver brand essence, build brand image and support operation execution
  • Manage budgets and effectively allocate resources among campaigns
  • Supervise subordinates to effectively manage the whole cycle of promotion campaign
  • Build teamwork with internal cross-functional teams for effective project management
  • Carry out any other assignments assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in Casual Dining Restaurants(CDR), Quick Service Restaurants(QSR), FMCG, or any related industries in Marketing field
  • A minimum of Master’s degree in Marketing or Management-related field

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in Casual Dining Restaurants(CDR), Quick Service Restaurants(QSR), FMCG, or any related industries in Marketing field
  • Proof of success in NPD development, turning consumer insight into winning products
  • Good background in advertising/creative work judgment

Brand Manager

Position Summary:

We are looking for an innovative Product Development AVP to head our Non-Core category at MK Restaurant, a healthy chain restaurant operator of 600 outlets. You identify with food and have commitment to quality in everything that you do. You will direct the design, development and implementation of product development initiatives based on customer insight. The ideal candidate has a global mindset and has successfully implement new product and process improvements that meet customer expectations and company quality, margin enhancement and growth targets. This position partners cross-functionally and requires excellent relationship building and project management skills. 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop tasty recipe and effective product plans to launch and promote NPD and promotions to grow Non-Core (Teen and YA/ Lunch/ Snack/ Desserts & Beverage/ On-the-go occasions)
  • Work closely with Marketing team to understand consumer needs/insight, changing lifestyle and market trend in order to identify and deliver impactful NPD for MK new occasions
  • Leads the Product Development team to effectively plan and execute product launch schedule. Reviews, prioritizes and assigns projects. Sets clear direction by clearly communicating and reinforcing expected outcomes with the team
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Purchasing and Quality Assurance to ensure project objectives and timeline. Builds strong working relationships with people in all functions
  • Identifies and implements cost savings opportunities
  • Identifies market/product opportunities and threats and implements action plans accordingly
  • Identifies emerging technology and food trends and applies to new product opportunities
  • Works with production facilities/departments to ensure a straightforward scale-up once the reformulations/new products are ready for large-scale production
  • Supports resolution of quality issues through use of root-cause analysis
  • Coaches and partners with direct reports to effectively manage performance
  • Communicates company goals and assists direct reports in establishing their aligned goals
  • Develops and manages department budget, ensuring efficient use of resources
  • Conduct sales analysis and promotion activities monthly to assess and propose action plan that coincides with marketing goals
  • Lead and stimulate the team to achieve marketing, product development and sales enhancement goals

Other Duties:

  • Attend and contribute to all meetings, activities, and training sessions as required
  • Maintain strong, professional relationship with relevant business partners
  • Ensure high standards of personal presentation and grooming
  • Actively participate in all organizational and employee engagement activities
  • Carry out any other assignments assigned by the CEO from time to time

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years culinary experience or product development with at least 3 of those years supervising others and have previously influenced senior managers
  • BS/MS degree in Culinary Arts, Food Science, Hospitality or related field with strong proven records of food knowledge and consumer taste insight. Culinary certificate preferred
  • In-depth knowledge in F&B, market research and QSR. Has a global mindset
